Our Therapy Approaches

No two people are the same, and neither are their healing journeys. That’s why we draw on a range of evidence-based, integrative approaches—tailored to support your unique needs, nervous system, and lived experience. Whether you're seeking tools for everyday life or working through deeper trauma, our aim is to meet you where you are and walk beside you with compassion, clarity, and respect.

Somatic Counselling

An embodied approach that combines verbal dialogue with body-based awareness to help clients understand and shift patterns held in the nervous system. Grounded in neuroscience and Polyvagal Theory, this approach supports regulation, resilience, and a greater sense of safety by helping the body move out of survival states and into connection. It's effective for a wide range of issues—from trauma and anxiety to everyday stress—and helps clients reconnect with themselves in grounded, empowering ways.

Animal Assisted Psychotherapy

A gentle, relational approach that incorporates the presence of animals (in our case Odinn) as co-regulators and mentors in the therapeutic process. Their calm, accepting nature helps create a sense of safety, supports emotional regulation, and enhances client engagement. Especially effective for trauma and hard-to-reach clients, Animal Assisted Psychotherapy fosters healing through connection, trust, and the unique bond between humans and animals.

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy

A body-oriented talk therapy that integrates somatic, emotional, and cognitive awareness to process trauma and attachment-related wounds. By using the body as a source of insight, clients can gently shift long-held patterns, regulate their nervous systems, and create lasting change in how they feel and function.

Creative Arts Therapy

An expressive, body-based approach that uses art, music, movement, writing, and drama to help clients explore and process experiences that may be hard to put into words. Grounded in the belief that creativity is a powerful tool for healing, this therapy supports emotional regulation, resilience, and self-discovery—especially when working with trauma or navigating life transitions. It invites play, imagination, and embodied expression to open up new ways of understanding and being.
